Nash – LibraryThing I loved this book. I found it interesting to read it again as an adult in my fhe compared to as a moutains kid because so many of the references to today’s world things the reader is presumed to understand but that mystify the characters are a lot clearer to me now than when I was a kid.
Interestingly I would place the vocabulary somewhat above the average “adult” fiction today If I compare it to something like Harry Potter – our protagonist spends significantly less time in self-examination, obsessing over his inner thoughts.
I cannot comment on the prequel, “When the Tripods Came,” because I only learned about it in the s and I’ve never read it.
